Coles has donated essential products including breakfast cereal, water, milk, canned food, noodles and pet food to residents in the flood-hit towns of Forbes and Eugowra.

Coles delivered more than 7,500 essential groceries and sanitary products to the evacuation centre at Forbes High School, as well as provided hampers to residents of Eugowra.

Coles Regional Manager NSW supermarket operations Aaron Ralph said the team is doing everything it can to provide urgent support to the community.

“Our team knows a lot of people who have been cut off from essential food and sadly many, including one of our team members, who have lost the entire contents of their home. Donating essential items such as water, milk and breakfast cereal is the least we can do to show our support

In addition to this, Coles is also working hard to ensure our shelves in these communities are well stocked and able to meet the demand of flood affected residents. We’ve made additional orders of items like rubber gloves and garbage bags to support the clean up,” Ralph said.

All stores in the area remain open for residents and customers are can still access Click&Collect when they order their groceries through Coles Online.
