Brooki Bakehouse has appointed Andrew Head as CEO, as the premium bakery brand prepares to accelerate its next phase of national and international expansion.

Founded by Brooke Bellamy in 2022, the business has expanded its retail footprint from one store in Brisbane to several national locations, and plans to expand into the UK this year.

Brooki entered a strategic partnership with global property development company, Arada, last November. Arada invested $25 million to fund global expansion of the brand, starting with a permanent location in the UAE.

“Our community has grown beyond anything we imagined,” said Bellamy.

“What they connect with most is the creativity, the product and the energy of our spaces. With Andrew leading the business, I can focus on developing new products, retail concepts and pop-ups that continue to give our community what they love.”

Head will lead Brooki’s next expansion steps, bringing more than 20 years’ leadership experience across property, hospitality and food and beverage to the role. The company said the appointment will enable Bellamy to focus more deeply on product innovation, creative direction and customer experience.

“Brooki has achieved extraordinary growth in a short period of time,” said Head.

“The opportunity now is to build the operational engine that supports scale – ensuring we expand in a disciplined way, strengthen performance and maintain the premium positioning our customers expect as we grow.”
