Bombay Sapphire has launched an immersive pop-up bar on the rooftop of The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) to coincide with the Vivid festival in Sydney.
The pop-up bar features light installations, LED-lit drinks and the backdrop of Sydney harbour lit up for Vivid.
The brand has also launched an exclusive hot gin cocktail, titled the Winter Warmer in Laverstroke, which uses hot gin and is served in a teacup.
Bombay Sapphire Brand Ambassador Peter Hollands said, "Hot Gin is a popular trend dating back to the 18th century, and such a versatile drink for however you want to spend your winter nights – whether it’s escaping the cold on a night out or during a night in on the sofa. The warmth will transport you to sitting in front of a warm fire on a cold London night out”.
“The hot temperature of the drink accentuates the botanicals and provides a greater depth, perfect to enjoy while Sydney’s temperatures drop this winter. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the Sydney crowd responds to this innovative drink offering.”
Visitors can pick their own garnishes from a vertical garden. Other drinks on the cocktail list include three G&T Twists, The Barbershop Negroni and a Chocolate & Roses Negroni served in LED-lit glasses.
The pop-up is located on the MCA’s rooftop Sculpture Terrace and is open 5-9pm on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, including for World Gin Day on 9 June.
