Nestlé has put the popularity of more Allen’s lollies to the vote with Blackberries & Cream leading the pack for 2018.

The confectionery giant said 35,000 consumers voted online for one of three new fruit and cream combos, making it the biggest vote in Allen’s history.

Blackberries & Cream went up against Apple & Cream and Yuzu & Cream, with the former receiving 64 per cent of the votes, followed by Apple & Cream (22 per cent) and Yuzu & Cream (14 per cent).

“The final addition to the new Allen’s Fruits & Cream Mix has been chosen by our fans – the never-been-tasted, by the public, Blackberries & Cream is sure to put smiles on faces when it arrives in store next month,” Nestlé general manager – confectionery, Martin Brown said.

Blackberry & Cream will join fellow favourites Strawberries & Cream and Peaches & Cream in a new Allen’s Fruits & Cream Mix that will launch at Woolworths in mid-February at RRP $2.95.
