Early bird rates for the AUSPACK Business and Industry Conference have been extended to Friday according to organiser The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA).

Early bird rates for the conference, which is taking place alongside the AUSPACK exhibition and part of Packaging and Processing Week, were due to end last week.

Due to an overwhelming number of requests from the industry to extend early bird rates for an additional week, however, these have now been extended to 1 February, APPMA chairman Mark Dingley said.

The theme of the two-day conference is ‘Smart.Connected.Sustainable’ and will feature over 40 industry leading speakers from across the globe.

Attendees so far include Kellogg, Inghams, Wilmar Sugar Australia, Saputo Dairy Australia, Costa, Kilcoy Pastoral Company, Pernod Ricard, Norco co-op, Alcur, Plastmore, Snackbrands, Integr8 & Autom8, Al-Futtaim, EezyPak, Orora, Ego Pharmaceuticals, Food Labelling and Safety.
