The A2 Milk Company is revising its full-year financial forecast for a second time on the back of rising demand for its a2 Platinum infant formula.

The latest revision follows on from a full-year revenue upgrade in April to around NZ$525 million, due to stronger than expected second-half sales, especially in China.

In this latest update, due to continuing strong demand, revenue is now expected to be around NZ$545m for the 2017 financial year, an increase of NZ$20m on the previous update.

A2 Milk also announced that due to changes in the phasing of the marketing investment, primarily in China, second half marketing expenditure was now expected to be NZ$5m less than the NZ$15m it had forecast.
