A new dumpling range from Brendan Pang was inspired by his Chinese-Mauritian heritage and follows the success of a restaurant and recipe book celebrating these tasty parcels.

Brendan Pang

Pang was taught to make the wonton filled parcels by his grandmother at the age of nine. After appearing on MasterChef in 2018 and 2020, Pang opened his Perth-based dumpling restaurant, Bumplings, launched a cookbook and ran dumplings cooking classes.

“I’m proud about the quality of the produce and the attention to detail that goes into crafting these dumplings. Each dumpling is especially shaped to hold more sauce and is made using the freshest local ingredients. I have personally worked on perfecting these recipes and am excited to finally be able to share them with Australia,” said Pang.

The Brendan Pang dumpling range includes Pork & Ginger, Chicken & Prawn, and Classic Juicy Pork Xiao Long Bao.

Brendan Pang dumplings are available in selected Woolworths stores across WA, Victoria and NSW from June 2022 and retail for $9.50 (280g).

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
