In the first release outside of the US, White Claw has lauched its new range, Surge, in Australia. Available in Blackberry and Blood Orange, White Claw Surge delivers a 6.5 per cent ABV per 330ml can.

Mark Anthony Brands International president Scott Walton, said the market for White Claw in Australia had remained strong since its launch in 2020.

“When we first launched here in October 2020, we sold one million cans in the first week. The hard seltzer category is now worth $210m AUD and is growing 188 per cent YOY, with White Claw being the number one contributor to value growth last summer, we’re thrilled to offer more from the brand,” said Walton.

Globally, there has been a positive response to White Claw’s Surge range, which is worth over $70m USD in the US.

“As the global leader in the hard seltzer category, I am confident we will see similar success here in Australia with these two flavours,” said Walton.

White Claw Surge will be available nationwide at bottle shops at an RRP of $30 for a 4 pack.
