The West Winds Distillers, known predominantly for its award-winning gin range, is branching out with a limited edition small batch series.

The Western Australian distillery, established in 2010, has announced the inaugural release of the West Winds Distillers Small Batch Series, an 8-year-old spiced rum.

Cinnamon quill, vanilla bean, and coconut are the opening notes of this ABV 40% ABV liquor, with undertones of dates, zesty orange peel, and mango. Allspice adds depth and complexity, with subtle nuttiness of pecan completing the palate.

The company stated that customers won’t want to miss out on its small batch drops, representing its commitment to craft and quality.

“In true West Winds larrikin spirit, we're thrilled to unveil a series of limited-edition releases that showcase our craft at its finest.”

“With each batch available in extremely limited quantities, it's a first-come, first-served opportunity to savour something truly mouth-watering.”

The 700mL West Winds small batch Spiced Rum is available exclusively online and at the company’s Cowaramup distillery in Western Australia for RRP $74.99.
