Premium Indian food range, Rani Superior, is bringing the flavours of Nepal and Tibet to Australia with its new Vegetable Momo dumplings.

Although the topic of origin is fiercely debated between Nepal and Tibet, India has adopted the humble Momo, which is now the number one snack food across the nation by volume consumed. Hand-folded in the traditional round shape, with a slightly thicker wrapper, Rani Superior’s Vegetable Momo are giving Australians a genuine Momo experience from the comfort of home.

The 1.32kg pack contains three chutney sachets and 40 Momo, which can be steamed, pan fried or deep fried. Each dumpling features fresh ingredients like cabbage, onion, ginger, green chilli, and coriander, and is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

“The demand for Momo has grown exponentially over the past few years, which isn’t surprising considering just how flavourful they are,” said Vaswani.

“Launching our Vegetable Momo with Costco is an exciting step for us at Rani Superior, and we know Australians are going to fall in love with the product.”

The Vegetable Momo are now available in Costco's freezer aisle for RRP $15.99.
