As winter officially sets in, Frucor Suntory’s most popular beverage, V Energy, is going tropical, with the latest addition to its range – V Tropical Tang – a refreshing, tropical infused energy drink.

V Tropical Tang captures the taste of the tropics in a can, meeting consumer’s love for fresh tropical flavours with a sweet explosion of guava, pineapple and berries.

Josh Wheeler, head of Energy and Transformation at Frucor Suntory Oceania, says V Tropical Tang has been developed to excite energy drink fans with a new flavour profile that delivers a tropical explosion of flavour in a uniquely, and distinctly V way.

“V Tropical Tang gives our consumers another great tasting choice that delivers the refreshingly smooth, tasty energy hit they crave. Just because summer is fading in the Southern Hemisphere, doesn’t mean those feel-good vibes have to go with it.

“Cracking a can of our new V Tropical Tang instantly transports you back to the warmth of a good summer, with a flavour that packs a beach holiday punch! For those that are all about tropical vibes then this Tropical Tang flavour packed addition, is a must try,” Wheeler said.

V Tropical Tang is available in New Zealand in a single 500ml can and in Australia from 15th May in both a single 500ml can and 4 pack (4 x 500ml). The launch will be supported by a strategic OOH and social campaign to drive trial and awareness.

V Tropical Tang is the first V Energy full sugar product to be released since the success of V Raspberry Lemonade in 2020.

Tropical Tang joins the V Energy range which includes V Original, V Blue, V Raspberry Lemonade, V Energy Sugarfree Original, V Sugarfree Blue, and V Refresh in Citrus Lemonade and Pineapple & Watermelon.
