US award-winning frozen snack brand, Tru Fru, has launched into the Australian market with a national listing already secured in Coles, Woolworths, 7 Eleven and independent retailers including IGA for RRP $13.

The brand was first launched in the US in 2017 and found success in the frozen snacking category across multiple global markets, before being acquired by Mars Snacking in 2023.

The brand will launch initially with three flavours:

  • Strawberries in White & Milk Chocolate – ripe, juicy strawberries wrapped in layers of creamy white and milk chocolate.
  • Raspberries in White & Dark Chocolate – tangy frozen raspberries paired with smooth white and rich dark chocolate for the ultimate sweet-meets-tart bite.
  • Pina Colada – a tropical twist featuring juicy pineapple, generous white chocolate and a hit of coconut flavour.

Set to be the frozen snacking sensation of the summer, Tru Fru is made using 100 per cent real fruit, picked ripe, before being double immersed in delicious decadent smooth chocolate and hyper chilled to lock in all the flavour and nutrition.

“We know Australians are always on the lookout for their next big snacking obsession and have had their eye on the local arrival of Tru Fru for some time,” said Emma Dobson, ANZ market director for Accelerator at Mars Snacking.

“We’re thrilled to be able to launch three incredibly delicious flavours to market in time for a quintessential Australian summer – we think Tru Fru has all the ingredients to become a freezer favourite.

“It’s real fruit, indulgent chocolate and a deliciously unexpected frozen twist, giving consumers a new way to enjoy a little bit of indulgence.”
