Melbourne-based Italian liqueur producers, Tommy’s Booze, has launched a limited edition Kiwi flavour, joining a range that includes Limoncello, Mandarino and Lampone.
What began with a bag of lemons and a call to Tom’s Nonna in Rome has grown into a nationally stocked brand known for good times, great taste and doing things a little differently. Tommy’s Booze has built a loyal following with its signature approach to premium Italian-style liqueurs made locally, using real fruit, minimal ingredients and maximum flavour.
Kiwi is the latest release – described by the company as a little sweet, a little sour, and here for a good time, not a long time. The new release stays true to Tommy’s signature method, swapping in a new hero fruit while keeping the process intentionally simple, resulting in a vibrant, fresh and slightly tangy liqueur.
Tommy’s Booze co-founder, Tom Giurioli, said the original three flavours have been around for a while, and the team felt the range was ready for something new.
“Tommy’s has always been about doing things a little differently, so we went back to the lab and started experimenting with new fruits,” said Giurioli.
“Kiwi immediately jumped out, it fit right in and it’s not something you really see in liqueurs. I had a pretty good feeling about it from the start, and judging by the reaction, I’d say that call was right.”
Tommy’s Kiwi Liqueur is now available for a limited time only via selected stockists and online at tommysbooze.com.au, for RRP $65.00.
