Better-for-you beverage company Mrs Toddy’s Tonics has struck a chord with consumers as it expands into supermarkets nationally. The vegan,100 per cent natural tonics are expected to double their national presence by the end of February.

Mrs Toddy’s Tonics co-founder Sophie Todd said the business has grown at an exponential rate as consumers want healthier options.

“Almost overnight, we have gone from our kitchen table on the northern beaches of Sydney to manufacturing and bottling in dedicated facilities and selling in stores nationally,” said Todd.

“As Australians transition from lockdowns around the country, everyone is looking for ways to focus on their physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing.

“The range of Mrs Toddy’s adaptogenic tonics are completely different to juices and other drinks on the market and represent a niche in the fast-growing better-for-you beverage category,” she said.

The tonics use a mix of super herbs, spices and adaptogens including turmeric, clove, ginger, lemongrass, chamomile, juniper berry, hibiscus, vegan collagen and lipowheat.

The range of four tonics is packed with different nutritional and nootropic benefits. Recovery has anti-inflammatory properties; Immunity contains flu-fighting ingredients; Glow assists in repairing and soothing your skin and tummy; while Chill Out promotes relaxation and helps reduce anxiety.

The sugar and preservative free tonics come in 250ml bottles in store and 500ml bottles online. Mrs Toddy’s will also be expanding with two new category lines in the better-for-you beverage space in Q1 FY22.

The tonics are currently in major supermarkets, specialty health food stores and cafés.
