Allen’s Green Frogs have made a comeback as part of a new Frog Family Pack launch by Nestle.

The Green Frog was phased out in 2014 but Nestle says fans have been calling for their return.

The decision was made to bring back the frog as part of a variety pack called Allen’s Frog Family this month.

It includes the classic green (lime) and red (raspberry), plus two new colours in yellow (pineapple) and orange (orange).

Nestlé head of marketing – confectionery Anna Stewart said Green Frogs made a special appearance at the Allen’s Lolly Bar last year and were a smash hit, selling out in just three days.

Allen’s Frog Family joins Allen’s Red Frogs, Allen’s Frogs Alive, and the frogs in Allen’s Party Mix.

The packs are stocked in Coles, IGA and selected convenience outlets. RRP is $2.99.
