Doritos has teamed up with Taco Bell for National Nachos Day, bringing a limited edition Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nachos dish to stores nationwide for one month only.

With a base layer of PepsiCo brand product, Doritos Flamin' Hot Cheese Supreme corn chips, and topped with Taco Bell’s classic nachos ingredients – including the consumers protein of choice, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, tomato salsa and a coating of Taco Bell’s fan favourite Lava sauce – the result is a salty and spicy flavour explosion.

PepsiCo ANZ snack brands marketing director, Tracy Hardwick, said: “Doritos is an iconic brand known for its bold, intense flavours & crunch and we’re excited to be partnering with Taco Bell to turn up the heat & bring a spicy twist to Taco Bell’s much-loved, delicious nachos.”

The dish will only be available from Taco Bell stores nationwide from 6 November-4 December, for $11.95.

Taco Bell Australia chief marketing officer, Andrew Howie, said the company is famous for its crunchy, cheesy, spicy and saucy food.

“We are very excited to bring the Doritos Flamin' Hot Nachos to life for Australians,” said Howie.

“With its perfect blend of all the things we do well, these nachos are sure to satisfy heat lovers everywhere. Hurry in as they won’t be here for long.”
