Duxton Vineyards has introduced its new sparkling wine brand, Solara, offering Australian Prosecco and Chardonnay Pinot Noir, primarily targeting millennials and eco-conscious consumers.

The Solara brand offering targets a millennial audience via its bright, vibrant and celebratory positioning, while also connecting with eco-conscious consumers who want to enjoy a quality sparkling from a sustainable local producer, with grapes sourced from the Murray Darling region.

Duxton Vineyards GM Wayne Ellis said that after a successful launch with the Rewild brand last year, Duxton Vineyards had seen an increased appetite from consumers for affordable sparkling wine options.

“Solara is our response to that demand. Solara Prosecco and Chardonnay Pinot Noir are fresh, flavourful and youthful, and perfect to enjoy as part of summer celebrations or festive drinking occasions,” said Ellis.

Duxton Vineyards is one Australia’s largest vineyard holders with over 26 different varietals on vine in the Mildura and Sunraysia regions in New South Wales, in addition to a large, modernised winery. Owning and operating over 2,400 hectares of vineyards, Duxton Vineyards contributes to around 4 per cent of Australia’s total grape supply.

Duxton Vineyards is committed to environmental sustainability, with Solara embodying the company’s ethos for sustainable wine production. The company conducts sustainable practices at its vineyards including regenerative farming practices, water-saving initiatives, a biodiversity management plan and not using any animal products. Duxton Vineyards is also a certified Sustainable Winegrowing Australia member.

In addition to Rewild, Duxton Vineyards produces Pete’s Pure, Twill & Daisy and Brave to be Murray. Solara is distributed by Pure Wine Co, a national sales and distribution business based in Stirling in the Adelaide Hills.

Pure Wine Co CEO Daniel Killey said the distributor was focused on building a portfolio of exceptional local producers and imported brands for its independent and national on and off-premise customers.

“It’s terrific to add Solara to the list of sustainable wines we distribute for Duxton Vineyards. Domestic sparkling is a huge growth market with Australians enjoying the category more frequently than 12 months ago, and Solara offers our partners a sustainably sourced, quality sparkling wine at a very reasonable price point,” said Killey.

Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
