Sunny Queen Farms has launched two new liquid egg products in supermarkets across Australia in response to the growing appetite for nutritious and convenient food.

Where once convenience was the main driver for purchasing pre-packaged food options, interest in health and nutrition has spun the convenience industry, meaning convenient food options no longer need to taste good; they also need to help consumers meet their nutritional goals.

Recognising the need for this, Sunny Queen Farms have released Scrambled Egg Mix, and 100% Egg Whites in an easy to pour, resealable and recyclable pouch packaging.

General manager of marketing and innovation Isabelle Dench said convenience doesn’t mean you have to compromise on taste, health and quality nutrition.

“Trends show that consumers want convenient, time-saving food and are increasingly interested in supporting Aussie farmers and buying Aussie-made products,” Dench said.

Products like pre-grated cheese and pre-chopped vegetables have become the norm on tables and used in meal prepping around Australia and as such, will this new way of enjoying and consuming more eggs.

“We are all time poor and becoming more and more health conscious, and therefore, nutritious, easy and guilt-free food is shaping the way forward changing the perception of ready-made products from ‘guilty pleasures’ to ‘simple and healthy pleasures’ – because now you really can have both,” Dench said.

Sunny Queen’s Scrambled Egg Mix, perfect for scrambled eggs, omelettes, frittatas, amongst many others. Sunny Queen 100% Egg Whites is also simple to use and the perfect pairing for baking, whipping up a classic pavlova, adding into a delicious smoothie or even an egg white muffin.

“Eggs are rich in nutrients, including proteins, vitamins and minerals, which are an important and versatile ingredient for cooking and baking,” Dench said.

“By launching these new products, we hope to provide Aussies with easy ways to get their egg intake, even when time may be working against you.”

The Scrambled Eggs Mix and 100% Egg White are available at local Woolworths outlets across Australia.
