SPC has launched classic canned meals in a single serve snack pot format, for on-the-go consumption. The snack range comes in two flavours – Spag-a-saurus Tomato & Cheese and Baked Beans in Rich Tomato, inspired by canned spaghetti and baked beans.

The SPC Snack Pots range come in recyclable containers that can be prepared in 40 seconds – appealing to young consumers, families with smaller households and busy parents for lunchbox snacks.

SPC chief marketing officer, Peta Allsopp, said that the SPC Snack Pot range unlocks a realm of snacking possibility for the SPC brand and offers parents convenient, portable and affordable meals solutions.

“The microwavable format delivers new ways to engage younger families, but also attracts shoppers looking for easy, on-the-go solutions into the category.

“SPC is the only brand with on-the-go Snack Cups in Baked Beans & Spaghetti – a lunchbox game-changer – and is proudly manufactured in Australia.”

The SPC Spag-a-saurus Tomato & Cheese snack pots contain 175g of dinosaur shaped pasta prepared in a tomato and cheese sauce. They have a 3.5 Health Star rating, being low in sugar and 99 per cent fat free.

The SPC Baked Beans in Rich Tomato snack pots contain 180g of tomato sauce coated baked beans. With a 4.5 Health Star Rating, the snack pots are an excellent source of fibre and protein.

SPC Spag-a-saurus Tomato & Cheese and Baked Beans in Rich Tomato are available at Woolworths and IGA stores nationally for RRP $2.60.
