KitKat has introduced two new flavours to its Dark blocks range, sourced from and farmed from local produce.

Tasmanian Mint and Southern Australian Orange have joined the flavour line-up, combined with KitKat’s iconic crisp wafer fingers and topped with rich dark chocolate.

Oil from the mint plant frown in Tasmania is used for the mint choc combo, while South Australia’s Riverland and the Sunraysia region helped to source the oil from the blood oranges for the choc orange block.

“Using quality ingredients from our own backyard, the new flavours add intrigue to our well-loved dark chocolate range as an indulgent and stimulating chocolate treat,” said Nestlé head of marketing confectionery Joyce Tan.

“So, we’re excited to take KitKat and dark chocolate lovers on a journey of discovery, exploring the provenance of Tasmania and Southern Australia with these new flavour pairings.”

KitKat Dark Tasmanian Mint and KitKat Dark Southern Australian Orange are now available in 170g blocks from supermarkets nationwide for RRP $5.00.
