Smirnoff has launched two new RTD ranges: Smirnoff Soda and Smirnoff Hard Soda featuring five new flavours, all with less than 2.2g of sugar per 100ml.

Following increasing demand for lighter premix options, the new range includes three Smirnoff Sodas infused with real fruit juice: Lime & Lemon, Pineapple & Lime, and Peach & Lime, with 100 calories per can, 2.2g of sugar per 100ml and a 3.5 per cent ABV.

The range also includes two Smirnoff Hard Soda options: Yuzu Citrus Burst and Pink Grapefruit Crush, with a 6 per cent ABV and 140 calories per can.

Diageo marketing manager (Smirnoff), Maddy Stockwell, said sodas were an exciting, emerging segment of vodka RTD’s that was quickly taking off in the Australian market.

“We know the RTD trend is continuing to soar so we’re thrilled to be offering a brand-new duo of ranges that deliver both low sugar and lower calorie options,” said Stockwell.

Smirnoff Sodas and Hard Sodas are now available in liquor stores nationwide, with the Smirnoff Soda Peach & Lime and Pink Grapefruit Crush Hard Soda available exclusively at Dan Murphy’s and BWS. The Smirnoff Sodas 330ml four-packs retail for $24 RRP, while Smirnoff Hard Soda 330ml 4-packs retail for $26 RRP.
