Australian bakery, Simson’s Pantry, has launched the country’s first High Protein Souvlaki Wrap, featuring 10 grams of protein per wrap.

As the demand for high-protein foods continues to rise globally, more consumers are recognising the essential role protein plays in muscle growth, tissue repair, and immune support.

Understanding the importance of protein in a balanced diet, Simson’s Pantry is giving Australians a healthier way to enjoy souvlaki at home by launching a new range that is packed with protein, without compromising on taste or texture.

Made for everyday Australians – from the gym-goers to health-conscious consumers, to busy households looking to up their protein intake – the Simson’s Pantry High Protein Souvlaki Wrap is the first of its kind in the Australian market.

Simson’s Pantry head of marketing and growth, Mark Malak, said the company saw a clear gap for a high protein wrap that complements the lifestyle of Australians continuing to prioritise health and nutrition.

“We know a tasty souvlaki is a go-to meal for many, and so we wanted to offer a better option that doesn’t compromise on flavour,” said Malak.

“We’re always looking for ways to improve not just what Australians eat, but how food is made. Sourcing high-quality ingredients and using 100 per cent solar power to produce our wraps is just one way we’re driving innovation for a better future.”

Made in Australia with high-quality ingredients and crafted in Simson’s Pantry’s Maryborough bakery using 100 per cent solar power, the wrap maintains the soft and pliable texture souvlaki wraps are known and loved for.

The Simson’s Pantry High Protein Souvlaki Wrap are now available exclusively in Coles supermarkets in a five-pack for RRP $5.00.

At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
