Land of Plenty Food Co. is relaunching its Lotus & Ming Deluxe Seafood retail range as certified gluten-free next month.

The company’s new coated seafood range includes Salt & Pepper Whiting and Salt & Pepper Squid.

The gluten-free range was developed to boost the options for caterers, restaurants, and cafes across the country wanting value-added products that not only fit the ‘free from’ category, but still satisfy the general foodservice market.

Land of Plenty Food Co. says it worked hard to “retain the classic taste and quality” ahead of the reintroduction of the range into this market.

Company director Karen Lavecky says the vision to create gluten-free, value-added products sought to fill a big gap in the Australian market.

“As a nation, we’ve become increasingly aware of our own health needs, and we’re seeing so many Australians switching over to a gluten-free lifestyle,” Lavecky says.

“At Land of Plenty Food Co, we know that our foodservice clients want to be able to offer more choice to their customers, and cater to those with gluten allergies or intolerances in as many ways as they can.”
