Heinz Australia has developed a new sauce, designed to be the perfect pairing to fried chicken, and has teamed up with Gami Chicken to launch it.

Described as a bold, creamy, sweet and spicy sauce, Heinz Fried Chicken Sauce will be officially launched at Gami’s Market Street Store in Sydney, on 12 September, with limited-edition menu items featuring the sauce.

The launch night giveaway kicks off a month-long Heinz x Gami partnership with all Gami Chicken restaurants across the country, featuring a limited-edition meal of Boneless Gami fried chicken, chips, and Heinz Fried Chicken Sauce.

Heinz Australia head of taste elevation marketing, Andrea Payne, said the new sauce was inspired by Australians’ passion for fried chicken.

“We wanted to give them a sauce that's perfectly created for it,” said Payne.

“This collaboration with Gami brings that love to life in the most fun, flavourful way possible.”

Heinz Fried Chicken Sauce is now available at Coles nationally, and Woolworths and Metcash from 29 September, for RRP $4.80 RRP in a 295ml bottle.
