One of the world’s largest champagne groups is bringing its latest bottle to Australia – the Louis Pommery England Rosé NV. In addition to the latest release, Louis Pommery England Brut NV has had a design update, featuring a new gift box.

The Louis Pommery brand operates under Europe’s leading wine grower, Vranken-Pommery Monopole. This release marks its first-ever sparkling rosé, created using traditional methods at the Pinglestone Estate in New Alresford, United Kingdom.

The range was created by Pinglestone Estate’s head winemaker, Will Perkins, in collaboration with Clément Pierlot, Champagne Pommery's cellar master – blending English innovation with rich French traditions.

“English Wine Week served as a testament to the growing recognition and appreciation for English wines on the global stage,” said Perkins.

“Our Louis Pommery England Rosé is evidence of the rich tapestry of flavours that derive from the remarkable terroir of Pinglestone Estate vineyard.”

Produced in the distinctive terroir of southern England, where chalk is the dominant element of the soil, this English sparkling brut and rosé embody the renowned grape varieties of the region to bring exceptional crispness and minerality. The result is a collection that honours the heritage of Pommery winemaking.

The Louis Pommery England Rosé NV blend is described as having a persistent mousse and a vibrant nose presents English hedgerow fruits of wild strawberry and raspberry, accompanied by alluring notes of apple blossom.

“The progression of English wine over the past decade has been remarkable. At Louis Pommery, we are thrilled to bring together French expertise and English terroir to create something truly exceptional,” said Pierlot.

“Our new rosé sparkling wine is a perfect example of this harmonious blend.”

The Louis Pommery England Brut NV and Rosé NV are available at Dan Murphy's, Vintage Cellars and select fine wine stores across Australia for RRP $69 and $84 respectively.
