PepsiCo created a cosmic-coloured chip in the lead-up to the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Premiere on 25 April.

Doritos Supernova is a limited edition flavour launched in partnership with Marvel for the film's release.

The green chips are coated with a lime flavouring and dusted with “volcanic black pepper”. They are available in 150g and 80g packs.

The Marvel partnership has also featured an on-pack promotion giving consumers the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas valued at $15,000, as well as a $500 daily cash giveaway.

Doritos Supernova is sold in Woolworths and petrol and convenience stores at an RRP of $3.29.
