Mondelēz International is bringing its iconic chocolate and vanilla sandwich cookie to Australian shelves in a gluten free (GF) format, with the launch of Oreo Gluten Free Original nationwide.

With over 35 per cent of Australian households now purchasing GF products across the supermarket, according to Euromitor, demand for high-quality GF options has never been higher.

Mondelēz International in Australia & New Zealand senior director marketing Biscuits, Andra Dempster, said Oreo has been a household favourite in Australia for decades, but for those managing a gluten free diet, that experience has always been out of reach.

“This launch is about changing that. Oreo Gluten Free delivers the crispy choc cookie and sweet vanilla creme that Australians know and love, making it the perfect treat for afternoon snacking, sharing with friends or enjoying as a family. The joy of twisting, licking and dunking really is for everyone now,” said Dempster.

Oreo Gluten Free Original is now available at Woolworths, Coles and selected retailers nationwide, for RRP $4.50.
