Swedish oat beverage company, Oatly, has launched three new oat drink lines in Australia – with dairy-free Full, Light and Low Sugar varieties available from Woolworths.

Oatly Australia & New Zealand, country manager, Marc O’Sullivan, said the company wanted to make it easy for people to swap in plant-based for dairy in their diets, and that means designing products that require zero compromise on taste, performance, or nutrition.

“We’re excited to now offer consumers in Australia a full range of oat drink varieties and formats that work just as great in your morning coffee as they do in your favorite food recipes,” said O’Sullivan.

Oatly Full is the option for consumers after richness, with a creamy texture for sauces and baking, while Light offers a lighter, versatile recipe that blends well with coffee. Oatly Low Sugar has a milder flavour, ideal for tea and cereals, or consumers looking for a less sweet-tasting addition to their recipes and meals.

The new Oatly range is available in Woolworths stores across Australia, for RRP $5.20.

Packaging News

The merger between packaging giants Amcor and Berry is now complete, with the all-scrip deal creating a company with some 400 packaging plants, and 75,000 staff, located in 140 countries.

Pact Group is facing softening demand in Q4, citing Donald Trump’s tariffs, the ongoing domestic cost of living pressures, and supply chain disruption with shipping container supply tightening.

Raphael Geminder is following through on his stated intention to delist Pact Group in light of his failed takeover of the company, and has set 16 July as the date he wants it off the ASX.
