A new brand of tomato or barbecue sauce with the mission of supporting SANFL clubs has been rolled out.

SANFL has partnered with Adelaide’s Spring Gully Foods to launch Footy Sauce, with part of the proceeds going back to SANFL clubs.

Spring Gully Foods MD Kevin Webb says SANFL will receive a percentage from each bottle of sauce sold, with the money to be distributed among the League’s clubs for grassroots football programs.

The new SANFL-branded sauces are sold in 500ml squeeze packs, and Spring Gully will continue to produce its traditional home-style sauce.

“Depending on demand, we may look to expand the packaging options later to include single serve sachets and different-size bottles,” Webb says.

The sauces will be available at most Foodland and IGA stores in South Australia.

Packaging News

Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
