Nestlé’s Nescafé is expanding its Espresso Concentrates offerings, with the introduction of Rich Caramel, following the successful launch of the range last year.

Nescafé Espresso Concentrate in Sweet Vanilla and Espresso Black launched in May 2024, created with a premium blend of coffee varieties, and roasted and brewed using Nestlé’s proprietary technology to deliver a rich taste.

With more than 39 per cent of Australians sipping on iced coffee in the last year, this new addition aims to level-up consumers’ coffee experience and bring barista-style beverages to Australian homes.

Nescafé head of marketing, Melissah Toomey, said the company’s commitment to deliver exceptional coffee experiences at home is at the heart of everything it produces.

“The launch of Nescafé Espresso Concentrate in Rich Caramel is a direct response to our consumers' enthusiastic and overwhelming feedback when we launched Espresso Concentrates last year,” said Toomey.

“Caramel flavour is something we’ve done well under Nescafé for years, with our Nescafé Caramel Latte being our top selling product across our flavoured range offerings.”

Nescafé Espresso Concentrate Rich Caramel is now available in Woolworths and independent retailers, and will be in Coles stores from June.

Industry leaders have renewed calls for national packaging reform, warning that Australia's manufacturing resilience, recycling investment and sovereign capability remain vulnerable without policy action to create demand for locally recycled content and provide a more level competitive playing field.

Australia's emerging soft plastics recycling infrastructure is ready to process significantly more material, according to Soft Plastic Stewardship Australia, which has launched a three-month campaign aimed at boosting consumer returns and strengthening domestic supply of recycled resin.

PKN’s latest print issue is hitting desks and landing in inboxes, bringing readers up to speed with the people, technologies and innovations shaping packaging, printing and processing across Australia and beyond.
