Mr Chen’s is expanding its range of Asian pantry staples, launching its own versions of three classic condiments: sesame oil, sweet soy sauce, and sriracha.

The sesame oil is rich and nutty aroma and can be used to add depth to a wide range of dishes, while the sweet soy sauce strikes a balance between sweetness and depth, enhancing the overall flavours profile of any dish.

Mr Chen’s said the use of very hot chili sauces in various dishes is emerging as a new culinary trend with the demand for very hot chili sauce is projected to achieve a 7.8 per cent CAGR between 2023 and 2032. The addition of a Sriracha to its product portfolio which provides a kick of heat, offering a versatile and flavourful condiment for those seeking a spicy edge to their cooking.  

Mr Chen’s co-CEO Lucy Chen said the brand had been sourcing the finest ingredients and staying true to the authentic flavours of Asian cuisine.

“We are thrilled to introduce these new sauces to our range. Each product has been meticulously crafted to bring a touch of authenticity and elevate the culinary experience of our customers,” said Chen.

The new sauce trio is available at Woolworths nationwide.
