New Zealand based dairy product producer, Mainland, has released a new flavoured spread in its expanding product range – Sweet Cinnamon butter.

Owned by Fonterra Co-operative Group, Mainland is a dairy product producer that began in 1955 as a family business on the South Island of New Zealand. The company currently produces a range of cheeses and butter, sold across Australasia.

Made with New Zealand grass fed butter, this is the company’s first foray into a sweet spread. It joins Mainland’s range of flavoured butters, which includes Garlic and Garlic & Herbs.

The Garlic & Herbs flavour comes in the block and spreadable format, making the Sweet Cinnamon flavour Mainland’s second flavoured spread.

The company describes the product as a sweet spreadable butter blended with cinnamon and sugar to create the perfect morning spread.

“Conveniently add flavour and indulgence to your toast, crumpets, muffins or pancakes,” Mainland stated.

The Mainland Spreadable Sweet Cinnamon butter is available in Woolworths stores nationally for RRP $4.50.
