Meat and dairy alternative producer, Made With Plants, is expanding its range into Coles stores nationally. Vegan-friendly bacon, chicken, ham, and cheese will be available at selected Coles stores, most of which is produced, packed, and distributed from Made With Plants’ dedicated manufacturing facility in Brisbane.

A Coles spokesperson told media sources that the company is committed to expanding its vegan and vegetarian range, in order to cater for the growing number of meat-free shoppers.

“We’ve seen a rise in the ‘flexitarian’ [space,] and people seeking out alternative protein sources,” the spokesperson said.

Made With Plants products have been sold in Woolworths stores since 2019, and with the brand’s launch in Coles supermarkets, more Australians will have access to the range of plant-based options.

Made With Plants co-founder, Cale Drouin, said the company’s mission was to make tasty plant-based food readily accessible to all Australians.

“It has never been easier for Australian consumers to opt for cruelty-free food. Whether you’re a flexitarian, vegetarian, vegan, or simply looking to try new, tasty plant-based options, Made With Plants is proud to offer delicious alternatives that stack up against conventional meat and dairy.”

The new Made With Plants products available at Coles stores will include:

Made With Plants Grated Mozzarella, 200g, RRP $6.55, made from sunflower and coconut oils.

Made With Plants Meat Free Bacon, 200g, RRP $7.60, made from textured soy protein.

Made With Plants Meat Free Deli-Style Ham, 100g, RRP $7.00, made from seitan, a wheat gluten product.

Made With Plants Meat Free Roast Chicken, 300g, made from seitan.
