Breadtop and condiment brand, Lee Kum Kee, have released a limited-edition XO Sauce Turnip Cake Gift Set to celebrate Lunar New Year.

Breadtop’s traditional Hong Kong-style Turnip Cake has long been a staple during festive celebrations, made with freshly grated white radish, rice flour, Chinese sausage, and dried shrimp.

This year, Breadtop has reimagined its classic by infusing it with Lee Kum Kee XO Sauce.

Breadtop owner, Simon Ip, said the XO sauce “elevates” the cake with a “bold twist”.

“Lee Kum Kee is a household name trusted by everyone, from professional chefs in hospitality kitchens to home cooks. Partnering with such an authentic and renowned sauce and condiment brand aligns perfectly with our commitment to quality and excellence,” Ip said.

Lee Kum Kee business development director – Oceania, APAC, Gary Hui, said, “The gift set showcases the best of both brands, combining Breadtop’s expertise in seasonal treats with Lee Kum Kee’s premium sauce. We hope that this limited-edition gift set will bring joy and a superior culinary experience to all who indulge in it.”

The pair have designed the XO Sauce Turnip Cake Gift Set as a festive gift or centrepiece for Lunar New Year celebrations. It is available at all Breatop stores while supplies last.
