Now available at stores nationwide, Kinder Surprise and Kinder Joy are joining forces with some of the world’s most-loved entertainment brands – from Disney and Playmobil to Nintendo’s Super Mario – marking the start of Kinder Eggs’ biggest lineup of collaborations yet.

The line-up reflects the role each egg plays in family life, continuing to spark imaginative play and discovery for younger families, while building on the family connection and trust that has made the treat a familiar favourite for generations.

Kinder Joy taps into friendship, belonging and fandoms shaping their world, to keep the fun going as kids grow into tweens and teens alike – giving every member of the family a Kinder moment of their own. Together, the two ranges give families a Kinder moment for different stages of growing up.

Kinder Surprise x Disney and Playmobil

Now available in store, Kinder Surprise unveils a landmark partnership with Disney and Playmobil, bringing beloved characters and imaginative play together in a brand-new range of eggs.

Running from now until January 2027, the collaboration combines the delicious milky taste of Kinder chocolate with much-loved characters to discover inside, spanning beloved franchises including Toy Story, The Incredibles, Aladdin, Peter Pan and Moana – marking one of the biggest toy line-ups yet for Kinder Surprise, and bringing together multiple Disney franchises within a single license in ANZ.

Featuring a line-up of 18 characters – from the Genie and Woody to Mr Incredible, Moana and friends – each Kinder Surprise egg awaits a new discovery, with families able to explore their favourite characters and worlds through realistic, high-quality Playmobil figures.

And, with the free Applaydu app, the fun doesn’t stop there, as each Playmobil toy can be brought to life through augmented reality, creating a unique ‘phygital’ play experience that blends physical toys with digital storytelling.

Rolling out in two formats (single eggs and three-packs), the new licensed Disney and Playmobil range offers perfect playtime for the whole family.

Kinder Joy x Super Mario

Kinder Joy unveils its own major collaboration, teaming up with Nintendo’s Super Mario for a limited-edition range that brings the world’s best-loved gaming franchise to families in a fresh, on-the-go format.

Created with tweens in mind, the collaboration taps into the fandoms they love, giving them new ways to express themselves, connect with friends, and level up everyday moments.

Each Kinder Joy egg combines creamy Kinder chocolate with crispy wafer bites on one side, and a Super Mario-themed surprise on the other, turning an everyday moment into something a little more unexpected.

The collection features 23 individual toys spanning hangable characters and school accessories inspired by Super Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi and friends.

From backpack hangers  and pencil decorations to highlighters, paper clips and figurines, the range brings Super Mario into the everyday, while also adding a digital layer to the fun, with a scan-and-play filter experience extending the discovery beyond the pack.

“We’re thrilled to kick off our biggest season of collaborations,” said Azzurra Puricelli, head of marketing and new business at Ferrero.

“Across Kinder Surprise and Kinder Joy, we’re bringing together the stories and characters families already love – from timeless Disney tales and hands-on Playmobil play, to the trend-led excitement of Super Mario.

“With two iconic eggs offering different ways to discover, play and connect, there’s a Kinder moment for every stage of growing up.”

The Kinder Surprise Disney and Playmobil range and the Kinder Joy Super Mario range are both now available to purchase from major grocery retailers and convenience stores nationwide until January 2027.
