Kellogg has reduced the sugar content of its LCMs Oaty Bubble Bars following consumer testing of a healthier version.

Children who tried the new version reportedly liked them just as the original product.

The less sweet version has been given a 3.5 health star rating as the product is considered a source of fibre with no artificial colours or flavours, and no preservatives.

The new LCMs are being sold in Original Oats and Strawberry & Apple flavours and contain 37% and 33% whole grain oats respectively.

The bars are now sold in Woolworths, Coles, and most independent grocery stores.
