Haigh’s Chocolates and Australian leading couture house, Paolo Sebastian, have collaborated to create a gift range that “celebrates a shared devotion to imagination, hand crafting and detail”.
The new collection of gifts features shades of soft pink, powder blue and deep navy intricately finished with gold accents and signature design motifs, the cocoa bean and the nightingale songbird.
Haigh’s head chocolatier, Ben Kolly; and Paolo Sebastian’s creative director and founder, Paul Vasileff, worked closely to develop the range.
Alongside new limited-edition chocolates and special keepsakes, the range includes a Paolo Sebastian designed apron along with a cherished family recipe from Vasileff’s nonna, as well as a bespoke teacup and saucer set. Both come with classic Haigh’s chocolates.
“Growing up, Haigh’s was a special piece of my childhood. I recall receiving a box of beautifully assorted chocolates and how much it lit me up. As I became older, gifting Haigh’s to others became just as special. The opportunity to collaborate is such an honour,” said Vasileff.
The limited-edition chocolates crafted by Kolly feature hazelnut, rose and floral flavours.
“I was deeply inspired by Paul’s stories and childhood memories of Haigh’s while developing the new and limited-edition chocolates for the Gift Range. We can’t wait for our customers to try them and experience this whimsical collection of gifts for themselves,” he said.
Featuring a wide selection of much-loved and new Haigh’s chocolates, the range introduces the White Strawberry & Basil Parfait Truffle – a strawberry-flavoured truffle with a basil-infused cream centre.
The White Lemon Myrtle & Macadamia Block combines creamy white chocolate infused with native lemon myrtle oil and blended with Australian macadamias pieces, while the Milk Rose Marshmallow features fragrant rose-infused marshmallow layered over spiced dark chocolate ganache.
The popular Milk Turkish Delight Pastilles also feature in an embossed gift tin.
The Haigh’s Chocolates x Paolo Sebastian Gift Range is now available in Haigh’s stores in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and online.
Part proceeds from the sale of every Haigh’s Chocolates x Paolo Sebastian product will go towards Bowel Cancer Australia and their work supporting those impacted by bowel cancer.
