Moving into the bakery aisle of Woolworths supermarkets nationally, Green’s has launched two ready-to-eat lamington flavours: Strawberries & Cream and Triple Choc.

Green’s head of marketing and innovation Karen Marshall said the new treats were Green’s special take on the Australian favourite.

“Although we’re known for our easy to make baking mixes – we’re ready to enter the ready-to-eat bakery space at Woolworths with our own design of the Aussie lamington,” said Marshall.

Green’s Strawberries & Cream Lamingtons are baked with Green’s vanilla sponge, and filled with jam and cream and are dipped in a strawberry and coconut coating. The Green’s Triple Choc is a twist on the traditional lamington, made with rich chocolate sponge and a chocolate filling, covered in chocolate dip and coconut.

Suitable for vegetarians, Green’s Lamingtons are the first Green’s products to launch in the bakery category.

Green’s Strawberries & Cream and Triple Choc Lamingtons are available as a 4 pack for RRP $5.00 in the bakery aisle of Woolworths stores nationally.
