Patties Food Group frozen ready meal brand, Fitness Outcomes, is expanding its range to meet consumers’ protein goals – with the release of three new high-protein pasta meals.
As high-protein products continue to dominate grocery aisles and shopping baskets across the nation, the Australian Sports Nutrition Market has reported the industry to be sized at over $855 million and is projected to grow to $1.06 billion by 2032. Fitness Outcomes aims to meet this demand, with the launch of Hi-Protein Chicken Fettucine, Loaded Mac and Cheese, and Pesto Chicken Penne frozen ready meals, each delivering 26-32 grams of protein per serve.
With a minimum of 48 grams of carbohydrates per serve, the meals are designed to deliver a balanced nutritional option for active Australians, and be more than just another high protein product on shelves.
Patties Food Group chief marketing and growth officer, Anand Surujpal, said protein shouldn’t just be a buzzword to sell more products.
“Like any athlete or health-conscious Australian, we know how important it is to have a balanced diet that doesn’t prioritise one macro over another,” said Surujpal.
“A nutritionally balanced approach to food has always been at the core of what Patties does and this range is a direct expression of that philosophy in the freezer aisle.”
Fitness Outcomes Hi-Protein pasta range is available now at Woolworths and Coles stores nationally, for RRP $9.50.
