Campari Group brand, Espolòn Tequila, has released its first ready to drink (RTD) flavours in Australia – Sparkling Margarita and Sparking Paloma.

The company celebrated the 25th anniversary of Espolòn Tequila Blanco earlier this year, with the launch of a global campaign, 'To the Bone', that debuted in Australia, to announce its international expansion.

The Margarita is the number one tequila cocktail, and the Paloma is the fastest growing, so the team at Espolòn took these RTDs as an opportunity to add a twist to the classic flavours. Both have been expertly blended with Blanco Tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, and lightly carbonated for extra refreshment.

The Sparkling Margarita is infused with the refreshing natural flavours of zesty lime and triple sec, and the Sparkling Paloma is imbued with the natural flavours of a sweet and bitter grapefruit, alongside the tartness of lime.

Campari Australia marketing director, Paolo Marinoni, said the new foray into RTDs aims to allow consumers to enjoy Espolòn on every occasion, taking the traditional cocktail to the next level.

“Our Sparkling Margarita and Sparkling Paloma offers consumers the opportunity to enjoy the cocktails they already know and love on any occasion, thanks to the more convenient, and refreshing, serve,” said Marinoni.

“So, whether it’s from the can or over ice, there is no better way to celebrate the warmer weather than with a refreshing Margarita or Paloma in hand. This is a new and exciting venture for Espolòn and we’re eager to hear what our consumers think of the new cocktail inspired serves!”

Espolòn Tequila Sparkling Margarita and Sparkling Paloma are available at major liquor retailers for RRP $27.99 in a four-pack or $154.99 in a case of 24.

Packaging News

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
