Dairy manufacturer Ballantyne has launched an artisan rolled butter in crafted wrapping.

Each roll is individually hand packed for an on-shelf look that would usually be seen at a providore or delicatessen.

The shaped medallion of cultured-style, unsalted butter is the first of the company’s new premium rolled range, with further new releases planned for 2017 in Woolworths stores. RRP is $5.50.

Ballantyne also recently released a spreadable butter blended with locally grown, cold-pressed macadamia oil – adding to the collection of butters blended with chia oil, avocado oil, and extra virgin olive oil. RRP for the spreadables range is $5.
