Arnott’s is expanding its Tim Tam line-up with the launch of its new Deluxe range. The Decadent Triple Choc, Salted Caramel Brownie, Dark Choc Raspberry Tart and Dark Choc Mint flavours all come with a gooey centre.

Covered in Tim Tam’s iconic milk chocolate shell with extra chocolate covering two crunchy biscuits, The Decadent Triple Choc contains a velvety chocolate cream and a gooey chocolate centre. Salted Caramel Brownie brings the same shell and crunchy biscuits with a chocolate brownie flavoured cream and a salted caramel centre.

The Dark Choc Raspberry Tart and Dark Choc Mint flavours both come with a dark chocolate coating and two crunchy biscuits. The Tart flavour contains a raspberry flavoured cream, while the Mint flavour contains a minty cream and chocolate centre.

The biscuit brand also teamed up with brain mapping experts Neurofeedback Centre to measure brainwave activity before and after eating a Tim Tam Deluxe.

Neurofeedback Centre neurologist Tim Lucas said biting into one of the Tim Tam’s significantly raised the beta waves in the brain.

“When the brain is aroused and actively engaged in mental activities, it generates beta waves. These waves tend to sit on a relatively low amplitude but move the fastest and at a higher frequency. So, when our minds are vastly engaged or highly aroused, a spike in beta waves will be a sign of that,” said Lucas.

Tim Tam’s Deluxe range is available at all major grocery stores for RRP $4.50

Packaging News

The merger between packaging giants Amcor and Berry is now complete, with the all-scrip deal creating a company with some 400 packaging plants, and 75,000 staff, located in 140 countries.

Pact Group is facing softening demand in Q4, citing Donald Trump’s tariffs, the ongoing domestic cost of living pressures, and supply chain disruption with shipping container supply tightening.

Raphael Geminder is following through on his stated intention to delist Pact Group in light of his failed takeover of the company, and has set 16 July as the date he wants it off the ASX.
