Australian confectionery company, Darrell Lea, has released three fresh products for chocolate-lovers this May – Rocklea Road Bites, Strawberry Matcha Balls, and the H2COCO inspired Coconut Rough with Cookies Block.

Aiming to bridge the gap between nostalgic heritage and the latest flavour trends, Darrell Lea is reimagining its iconic treats, whilst retaining its commitment to quality. All new products are 100 per cent palm oil free and made with sustainably sourced cocoa.

The new line-up includes:

  • Rocklea Road Bites – RRP $6.00 – Darrell Lea’s original 1935 Rocklea Road handcrafted recipe has been transformed into a shareable bag of crunchy and chewy bite-sized rocky-road pieces.
  • Strawberry Matcha Balls – RRP $6.00 – Inspired by the viral flavours taking over social feeds, this trending chocolatey innovation combines a chewy strawberry flavoured centre, covered in smooth milk chocolate and coated with a matcha flavoured shell. Available for a limited time only.
  • Coconut Rough with Cookies Block – RRP $7.00 – Darrell Lea has teamed up with the crew at H2COCO to add a tropical twist to the chocolate aisle, combining toasted coconut and crunchy, buttery cookie pieces with smooth, creamy milk chocolate.

Darrell Lea head of marketing, Jane James, said the company is transforming its most iconic treats for today – bringing together nearly 100 years of Aussie craftsmanship with inventive recipes and modern bites.

“By evolving heritage classics like Rocklea Road and launching trend-led snacks like our Strawberry Matcha Balls, we’re making sure Darrell Lea stays at the heart of Aussie family traditions across generations,” said James.

Darrell Lea Rocklea Road Bites, Strawberry Matcha Balls, and Coconut Rough with Cookies Block are now available at leading retailers nationwide.
