US beverage company Califia Farms has launched its dairy-free cold brew coffees in the Australian market.

With the claim of containing 60 per cent less sugar than “leading Australian brands of iced coffee”, the company has launched the range in flavour combinations of XX Espresso, Cocoa Noir, Triple Shot and unsweetened Black and White.

Califia’s cold brew process allows the coffee to develop without acid, meaning they need less sugar to taste good, according to the company.

The plant-based beverage market has been growing in the US, with ready-to-drink blends on the rise.

Califia Farms uses Rain Forest Alliance certified coffee beans and raw, blanched almonds its almond milks.

The 310g bottles are currently sold in Coles only.
