Peters Ice Cream brand, Connoisseur, is bringing Euro summer to Australian freezers, with the launch of two new Mediterranean flavours – Pistachio Gelato in a 1L tub, and Almond Biscotti Gelato Sticks in a four-pack.

Connoisseur’s Pistachio Gelato celebrates the recent popularity of the flavour with a recipe inspired by Italy’s finest artisan gelaterias, smooth and velvety with a base of luxurious pistachio paste.

Almond biscotti has long been a beloved Italian dessert ritual, and Connoisseur has reimagined this classic – folding creamy gelato with biscotti crumb, then encasing it in rich milk chocolate with slivered almonds.

Connoisseur senior brand manager, Vanessa Mason, said Australians are looking for moments that feel like an escape, and nothing captures that more than the romance of Italian flavours.

“With rich textures and recipes inspired by Italy’s most iconic foodie traditions, our new gelato range transports you straight to the Italian coastline, one bite at a time,” said Mason.

“With bold innovation and a nod to the latest flavour trends, these creations pay tribute to La Dolce Vita, honouring life’s simple pleasures and the beauty of slowing down.”

Connoisseur’s new Gourmet Gelato range is now available in grocery and petrol & convenience stores, from RRP $12.
