Conga Foods' olive oil brand Moro has been revamped with new flavour infusions of chilli, garlic, pesto and balsamic.

Conga Foods marketing and innovation manager Kristen Moxey said the new product development came about after consumer research into pantry preferences.

"We landed on four variants that we think deliver on the flavour trends which are now rising in popularity," she said.

“Home cooks are increasingly looking for convenient ways to add flavour to food, and olive oil, as a pantry staple, represents a great opportunity to meet this growing need.”

Moxey said the company had kept a particular focus on the packaging design, ensuring a look that was "elegant enough for any kitchen bench".

Made with 100 per cent Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and available in a 250ml bottle, Moro Infusions products can be used for dipping, drizzling or cooking.

RRP for the product is $5.50.
