Following the success of last year's promotion, Coca-Cola and Coles are bringing back the Golden Can campaign, giving Australians another chance to uncover a golden surprise and win big on their grocery shopping.

Launching in stores and online from 30 September, Coles customers will have the opportunity to find one of 300 exclusive Golden Cans hidden inside specially marked 30-packs of either Coca-Cola Classic, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Diet Coke.

Each Golden Can unlocks 200,000 Flybuys points, equivalent to approximately $1000 off a shop, redeemable via a QR code on-pack.

“We know our customers love a little extra excitement when they shop, so we’re delighted to bring the Golden Can back to Coles for another year,” said Luke Stockhill, general manager grocery at Coles.

“With 300 Golden Cans to be found and each one worth 200,000 Flybuys points, it’s a fun way to give customers the chance to get even more value from their shop. We’re looking forward to seeing some lucky customers strike gold in Coles stores and online across Australia.”

The campaign combines the thrill of discovery with a rewarding shopping experience, giving consumers the chance to uncover a hidden prize in some of Australia's most iconic beverage brands.

“Creating meaningful value for consumers has never been more important and our insights tell us that we're seeing experience, engagement and loyalty play an increasingly important role in purchasing decisions,” said Tobias Hoogewerff, vice-president – At Home, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Australia.

“Golden Can brings all those elements together, showing how strong partnerships and innovative activations can make everyday shopping more rewarding for Australians.”

The promotion will be supported by a comprehensive omnichannel marketing campaign, including in-store activation, digital media, social content and retail point-of-sale materials designed to bring the Golden Can hunt to life for shoppers across Australia.

The campaign runs until 11:59pm AEDT, 31 January 2027.
