Champagne house Pommery has released its 2020 World Collection, Wax. The collection pays homage to the world’s second largest continent, Africa, and its traditional wax prints.

The bespoke range features three limited edition multicoloured gift boxes, which showcase the coloured motives of wax prints, a hallmark of African culture and fabrics.

Pommery has been creating brut style champagne since 1874. The cuvées available in the Wax range include Brut Royal, Brut Rosé and Brut Apanage Blanc de Blancs.

Pommery Brut Royal NV is composed of 40 crus and a traditional champagne blend - chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier - with citrus notes.

Pommery Brut Rosé NV adds a touch of Boozy Grand Cru Pinot Noir resulting in a pale pink, delicate rosé.

Pommery Apanage Blanc de Blancs NV is 100 per cent chardonnay with a fresh and complex flavour.

The range will be available in all major stockists from December.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
