Campari says its new bottle design was inspired by the aperitif’s ritual that began in Milan and has spread throughout the world. Designed as a visual homage to the city, the bottle’s direct cut lines were created to lead the eye to the city’s name, conveying its “sleek and contemporary” reputation.

The union of Campari and the city of Milano has continued for more than 160 years. This year will also mark Campari’s third year as the official Aperitif Partner of the Biennale, the largest contemporary art event of its kind in Australia.

Campari will join world renowned artists at the upcoming art exhibition the 24th Biennale of Sydney where attendees can view the new Campari bottle at the main exhibition at White Bay Power Station, serving a range of Campari cocktails including Negroni, Campari Spritz and Campari Soda. This will be the first time White Bay Power Station has been opened to the public in over 100 years.

Campari Australia marketing director Paolo Marinoni said, “Since its creation, the Campari bottle has evolved alongside Milano, continuously drawing inspiration from it. We wanted to continue to pay homage to Milano through the design of the new Campari bottle and we could not be happier with the story it tells.

Campari is available at select retailers including Dan Murphy’s, BWS, First Choice, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars & selected independent retailers for RRP $50.00.
