Just in time for its 35th anniversary, the Byron Bay Cookie Company has launched a range of its beloved cookies with a new protein-packed recipe – initially available in White Choc Macadamia, Milk Choc Chunk, and Triple Choc.

With up to 18g of protein per serve, each Protein Plus Cookie is individually wrapped for convenience, aimed at health-conscious cookie lovers on the go. The company stated each 60g cookie (1 serve) delivers 16-18g of protein, 5-6g of fibre, 45-47 per cent less sugar, and 60-63 per cent less carbs.

Byron Bay Cookie Company director, Bill Quayle, said protein is more than a trend – it’s part of a lifestyle.

“We know our customers have been looking for something that delivers extra nutritional benefits, while still delivering on the taste and indulgence that we’re known for,” said Quayle.

“Our product development team has worked tirelessly to bring to market a delicious range that will set us apart in a busy category, and initial customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.”

The new Protein Plus range by Byron Bay Cookies will be available online from 16 February at
cookie.com.au, for RRP $6.00.
